The magnetic pump consists of three parts: a pump, a magnetic drive and a motor. The magnetic drive is composed of an external magnetic rotor, an internal magnetic rotor and a non-magnetic isolation sleeve. When the motor drives the external magnetic rotor to rotate, the magnetic field can penetrate the air gap and non-magnetic substances, drive the inner magnetic rotor connected with the impeller to rotate synchronously, achieve non-contact transmission of power, and transform the dynamic seal into a static seal. Because the pump shaft and the inner magnetic rotor are completely closed by the pump body and the isolation sleeve, the problem of “running, taking, dripping and leaking” is completely solved, and the safety hazard of flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful media leaking through the pump seal in the refining and chemical industry is eliminated.

  1. The isolation sleeve damage: the magnetic coupling of the magnetic pump is cooled by the medium transported by the pump, if there are hard particles in the medium, it is easy to cause scratches or scratches to the isolation sleeve, and sometimes if the maintenance method is improper, it may also cause damage to the isolation sleeve.
  2. The problem caused by large fluctuations in pump operating conditions: the axial force of the magnetic pump is automatically balanced by hydraulic balancing. In actual operation, if the operating parameters fluctuate greatly, it is easy to destroy the hydraulic balance of the magnetic pump, so that the sliding bearing bears large radial and axial forces, resulting in bearing damage.
  3. No medium or conveying medium flow is small: make the bearing dry friction, burn the bearing. The magnetic pump is lubricated and cooled by the conveying medium to the sliding bearing. In the case of no inlet valve or outlet valve, the sliding bearing is damaged due to the absence of conveying medium lubrication and cooling.
  4. The problems caused by cavitation of the pump: the main reasons for cavitation of the pump are large resistance of the pump inlet pipe, more gas in the conveying medium, insufficient irrigation pump, and insufficient energy head at the pump inlet. Cavitation is the most harmful to the pump. When cavitation occurs, the pump vibrates violently and the hydraulic balance is seriously damaged, which will lead to the damage of the pump bearing, rotor or impeller. This is a common cause of magnetic pump failure.
